21 June 44

My darling;

I’m not going to write very much as things are rushing up on me. Everything that I did before now I have to do the opposite and get it back. So you see what I’m doing.

I hadn’t received any mail from you since I arrived until a few minutes ago. I got two. I’m sorry to hear that your aunt is having so much trouble.

Betty, I promise, I’ll sit down after I quit working and write you a good letter regardless of the time I quit.

I think of you very much and miss you terrible. Gee I like to see you soon but I wonder when I actually will. Goodbye for now. You got another coming today. All my love

Jack-
