My Blog - Inspired By My Pictures
Years ago I heard the advice, "Don't take pictures while on vacation, just focus on the experience." This turned out to be terrible guidance for me. In my late 30s I started taking more pictures. This activity helps to cement memories that would otherwise be lost whether on vacation or just going somewhere on the weekend. In this blog I share the memories and stories inspired by my pictures.
My new glasses
Encourage me
To open my eyes
Wide
At lunch I realize the condiments got mixed together
In a metal Chipotle meat tub
I grab an old, plastic, squeeze bottle intent on saving everything
Scooping the contents together
Then proudly watch the flavors separate
Ketchup on the bottom
Mustard next
Then mayonnaise
And at the top the pepper juice from a Steak and Shake jar
When I squirt everything out
It mixes perfectly on top of my burger
Once a success, always a success
